On Wednesday, May 8th, 4th and 5th graders from Country Meadow, James R. Watson, McKenney-Harrison and Country Meadow came together to compete with one another in a track meet.  Country Meadow and Waterloo elementary schools combined students for their team.  It was a beautiful evening and there was a lot of fun and sportsmanship shown by all.  Awards were given to all participants.  The winning girls’ team was the combined Country Meadow/Waterloo elementary team.  This was the first time that they have ever won the traveling trophy.  Second place went to James R. Watson, with third to McKenney-Harrison.  For the boys, first went to James R. Watson, second McKenney-Harrison and third to Country Meadow/Waterloo.  There were over 75 participants and a very large number of spectators.  This is an annual event and we look forward to next year.  This was another way that students were able to show the abilities that they have and also promote fitness and sportsmanship.  Great job by all!
