Corporate Challenge Champions
DeKalb Middle School won the Corporate Challenge for the school division.  Members of that team are Nick David, Wade Buchs, Jarrod Bennett, Kirsten Ziembo, Ashley Freels, and Kelly Beakus.

Over 200 participants showed up at James R. Watson Elementary school April 28 for DeKalb Central’s first “DeKalb Dash” 5K race.  Even though the weather was a bit rainy, the race went on without a hitch.

The organizers of this worthwhile event were Rowland Perez, Sherry Handshoe, and Brian Bigelow.  Many volunteers supported the event leaders which helped make the DeKalb Dash a huge success!  In addition, Jason Hunter and the DeKalb Wrestlers donated half of their chicken sales to our PE Department!

The Eaton team won the Corporate Challenge for the business division.  Members of that team are Barry Adams, Mark Beakas, Cindy Crawford, Gary Gill, Donna Puls, Derek Rode, and Andrew Urban.

Thank you to everyone that participated in the DeKalb Dash on April 28th at JRW elementary school.  We had over 209 participants!   I especially want to thank our sponsors: Beacon Credit Union, Best Deal Auto Sales, Eaton, Wal-mart Distributors, Wal-greens, Parker Glove, DeKalb Health, SDI, Dr. Tom Mason, Albrights, Trophies and Awards (Auburn) and Three Rivers’ Running Company.  Without you it wouldn't have been a success!

Way to go Mark Beckmann our overall winner!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations go out to Eaton for winning our corporate division and DeKalb Middle School for winning the school division.
