On Friday, April 17th DeKalb's Techfest team competed in Techfest 2015. This was DeKalb's fourth year participating in the event and our best showing to date. Eighteen schools from northeast Indiana participated in this year's Techfest at the McMillen Center in Fort Wayne.

Of the six major events, DeKalb placed first in four of them:

Engineering in a Box (Chase Alley, Mary Burris, Jacob Good and Landon VanZile)

Mini-Stem (Nicole Gillespie, Caroline Harlow, Jonathan Moss and Ashlyn Teders)

Mathematical Madness (Sam Griffin, Dallas Krinop, Cecilia Schowe, and Clay Travis)

Network Challenge (Andrew Graves, Korinna Lewellyn and Derreck Slone)

DeKalb had 27 students participating overall. Congratulations Barons!
