IMPACT Institute - Regional Skills State Qualifiers!

IMPACT Institute - DeKalb High School Regional SkillsUSA Indiana Winners and State Qualifiers!

February 9, 2015: one hundred and thirteen (113) students representing thirteen (13) member high schools from IMPACT Institute traveled to several locations in Fort Wayne and Angola, Indiana on January 31st, 2015 to participate in the SkillsUSA Indiana Regional competition.  At this competition over 400 students from Northeast Indiana competed.   

In Skilled competition, IMPACT Institute students from DeKalb High School placed for State competition in the following skilled competitions:  
Riley Holiday in Welding, Ethan Reed in Culinary Arts, Emily Long, Alyssa Graves, Francis Smith and Kortney Yarian in First Aid/CPR, Scott Kennedy in Audio/Radio Production, and Adrian Bell in 3D Visualization and Animation.

The above students will be advancing to the SkillsUSA Indiana State competition and conference April 10th and 11th in Indianapolis.
