The second annual Dinner Theater at Country Meadow Elementary School was a HUGE success Thursday evening.  "A Radio Drama" was performed in front of two sold-out performances and a matinee.  A spaghetti dinner was served prior to the performances.  The theme for the show took a glimpse at the Civil Rights movement and the treatment of people in both the past and the present.  This focus was in direct alignment with Country Meadow's focus on non-fiction text.  Students from the 2nd through 5th grade student body filled all of the roles to execute the evening.  These roles included:  Wait Staff, Hostess', Production Management, Stage Management, Technical Crew, Cast, etc.  Training was provided by Ms. Mary Kay Clark for the cast and crew; Mr. Ben Armstrong, Manager of the Italian Grille, for the wait staff, and Mrs. Tammy Althouse for the hostess staff.  The production was written by Ms. Clark.  We would like to thank all of those that helped make the evening a huge success!!
