JA Recognizes Outstanding Educators, Volunteers, & Corporations!

On Tuesday, November 10th, Walt Fuller, owner M & S Steel Corporation, Rick Walters, co-owner of DeKalb Molded Plastics, and Bill Yoder, owner of Bill Yoder Ford, will be honored as 2015 inductees into the JA DeKalb County Business Hall of Fame.

The JA Award for Economic Education Excellence will also be presented to area educators and volunteers in recognition of the partnership of business and education. The individuals being celebrated are:
Ruth Brown, Butler Elementary School
Kelly DuLucenay, James R. Watson Elementary
Chad Kennedy, Garrett First Church of Christ
Julie Rotz, Community Volunteer
Jama Smith, Littlejohn Auctions, Inc.
Chris Straw, Team Quality Services
Patti Taylor, Lincoln Financial Group
Katie Treesh, Garrett High School
Cindy Young, Steel Dynamics, Inc.

The JA Award for Corporate Impact will also be presented to organizations that have encouraged and supported outstanding contributions to JA programming. These organizations include:

Nucor Building Systems (Kevin Beckmann and Dave Burris) 
Garrett State Bank
Therma-Tru Doors
