The DeKalb Central school district transportation department sponsored its second annual Stuff-A-Bus food and coat drive Saturday to benefit local families in need. Nonperishable food donations, monetary contributions and new or gently used coats were dropped off in advance at the transportation headquarters and the district’s schools.

Items also were collected Saturday at Walmart and Advance Auto in Auburn and Albright’s in Corunna. Everything collected will be donated to the RSVP Community Center for Caring Food Bank in Auburn. Standing, from left, are Jeff Dawson, Renee Dawson, Amy Roemke, Laura Heimann, Liz DePew, Janna Long and Craig Long. In front is Ashlee Shroyer.
