Mrs. Wisehart's Spring Break Move Challenge

Posted Date: 03/18/26 (10:09 AM)

Dear Families,

Spring break is almost here, and with the change in routine comes a great opportunity to focus on something our students really need—daily movement and time outside. To help encourage healthy habits, I am inviting all students to participate in our Spring Break Move Challenge!

Each student is bringing home a tracking sheet where they will:

  • -Record the date
  • -Write what they did to move
  • -Track the minutes they were active

The goal is simple:
👉 Move every day over spring break
Movement can be anything that gets them up and active—walking, biking, playing outside, sports, dancing, hiking, or even active chores. Fresh air is a bonus, but any movement counts!

At the end of break:
  • Please help your student total their minutes
  • Sign the form
  • Return it to school
After break, I will meet briefly with each student who completes the challenge to talk about how they stayed active—and as a reward for participating, they will receive a full-sized candy bar!

This is a fun way to build healthy habits while also giving students something to look forward to. Your encouragement can make a big difference in helping them stay active each day.

Thank you for your support, and I hope your family has a fun, active, and refreshing spring break!
