Welcome to the DeKalb Central Family! 

We are delighted to have you as part of the team and hope that you are equally as excited to join DeKalb County Central Schools.

There are a few housekeeping items that we need to address as we get started with the onboarding experience. As a school employee, we need you to do a background check (if one hasn’t been done already). On the right-hand side, please click on the Employee Background Check link and follow the prompts to submit. If you already have a current Employee Background Check with another company, please feel free to forward that to HR for approval.

Please complete the District Device Training Module. This needs to be completed for you to receive your school-issued device.

We encourage you to show your school spirit, if you would like to purchase Baron spirit wear check out the link to the right-hand side.

If you are a teacher with prior teaching experience, please have your former employer fill out the form on the right-hand side labeled "Certificate of Teaching Experience" and return the signed form to HR.

Finally, please email Amanda Macalka, HR Assistant, at [email protected] a headshot photo to use for your employee badge. If you are unable to do so, you can stop by the Central Office, and we can take your picture.

We will be in touch soon to schedule a brief orientation covering more information about training videos, district benefits, and getting started in your new role. We look forward to having you as part of the team!
